Healing with Nature Women’s Circle

These are uncertain times. Feeling vulnerable, anxious or off-balance is very common and you’re not alone. This summer, renew your spirit and return to a place of calm and clarity by joining Healing with Nature Women’s Circle.

Each week, you will connect with the restorative energies found at Portland Head Light and Fort Williams Park in Cape Elizabeth.

Healing with Nature

(Week 1) Water
Standing at the coast of Maine, you’ll feel the commanding power of the ocean waters. Known to restore both body and spirit, water is an ally that absorbs worry and cleanses the soul. You’ll tap into this healing energy to identify sources of stress—and through a guided ceremony, literally toss those worries back into the ocean to be transformed.

(Week 2) Woods
Resting under tall pines and oaks, you’ll watch the leaves rustle and feel a deep sense of belonging. Tree roots grow deep to provide strength, yet remain flexible enough to weather storms. Using mindfulness techniques, you’ll establish healthy boundaries and honor your unique place in the universe.

(Week 3) Walking
Embracing the potent landscape, we’ll connect with nature’s healing balm to experience the present moment. Flowers, birds, waves, and rocks all emit their own energy. Guided by your five senses, you’ll participate in a Walking Meditation to notice and document the everyday miracles surrounding you.
